The Supervisor of operations - Mechanical Services (Safety Valves) is responsible for the quality of deliverables to clients, along with the team of technicians under their supervision.

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE
- Work closely with the Director, the Control Valve Supervisor, Inside and Outside Sales, the Asset Managers, the Planners, the Shutdown Managers, and our clients to meet the needs of all parties with the services of their team.
- Plan, organize, coordinate, and supervise shop and field technicians for the Kirkland and Saguenay sites
- Implement and ensure the achievement of quality standards required in the execution of the mandates of his team
- In line with planning, evaluate the current and future workload in order to forecast the use and/or hiring of human resources
- Participate in the recruitment process, from selection and hiring to the integration of new employees
- Perform time and expense approvals for the members of their team
- Evaluate tooling and PPE needs to ensure that the team has everything required for the safe completion of mandates
- Ensure that Laurentide Controls' health and safety and other policies are known and properly implemented by its team members
- Manage the team's time off and vacation schedules to ensure adequate service is maintained
- Implement and monitor performance reviews of members of their team
- Ensure the supervision and development of the competency plans of the technicians under their responsibility
- Identify and promote the emergence of future leaders while planning their own succession to maintain a sufficient number of seniors to mentor the new ones
ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS TO BE SUCCESSFUL
- Strength in developing and communicating clear plans aligned with our objectives
- Concern for the satisfaction of external and internal customers
- Able to work under pressure
- Leadership, team spirit, sense of responsibility, autonomous, dynamic
- Experience in personnel management is an asset
- Experience in control valve repair services
- Ability to establish excellent interpersonal relationships
- Willingness to learn, develop and take on new challenges
- Passion and integrity with the desire to have a strong and positive impact on the achievement of the company's goals.
- Bilingualism in written and spoken English and French is an asset
