About the role
Knowledge, Skills & Attributes:
About you
To be successful in this role you will have / be:
- A Bachelor's degree in Nursing
- Three (3) years in community / public health nursing and providing clinical support to nurses
- Current registration with British Columbia College of Nursing Professionals (BCCNP)
- Remote Certified Practice with the British Columbia College of Nursing Professionals (BCCNP)
- Current CPR course for Health Care Providers (HCP)
- An understanding of First Nations cultural principles and protocols
- Knowledge of nursing processes
- Ability to asses nursing practices and identify learning needs
You may have experience in;
- Primary health, health promotion, disease and injury prevention
- Providing mentorship and coaching nursing and health care staff
- Facilitating inservices and training services
- Creating and designing learning tools and short courses
- Working with student nurses and new graduate nurses
