Position Summary:

About the role

Knowledge, Skills & Attributes:


About you

To be successful in this role you will have / be:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Nursing
  • Three (3) years in community / public health nursing and providing clinical support to nurses
  • Current registration with British Columbia College of Nursing Professionals (BCCNP)
  • Remote Certified Practice with the British Columbia College of Nursing Professionals (BCCNP)
  • Current CPR course for Health Care Providers (HCP)
  • An understanding of First Nations cultural principles and protocols
  • Knowledge of nursing processes
  • Ability to asses nursing practices and identify learning needs

You may have experience in;

  • Primary health, health promotion, disease and injury prevention
  • Providing mentorship and coaching nursing and health care staff
  • Facilitating inservices and training services
  • Creating and designing learning tools and short courses
  • Working with student nurses and new graduate nurses
