Program Manager - Autism Division

  • The Program Manager is accountable for providing leadership, support, and oversight for the daytoday operations of the autism division at iHealthOX.

Program Operations

  • Intake and onboarding of new clients in our Autism division.
  • Serve as the primary relationship owner for a segment of our customers, maintaining regular contact with the customers' funding through the Ontario Autism Program and/or benefits administration, and other key stakeholders.
  • Partner with marketing to develop and deliver engaging campaigns and workshops for your customers.

Clinical Caseload Monitoring

  • Collaborate with all clinical and administrative staff within the care team (including residents and interns).
  • Develop service plans with the Clinical supervisor and senior therapist.
  • Ensure quality assurance with service authorizations, delegations, and oversight of treatment delivery and documentation from the team to ensure quality assurance.
  • Inform managers of service plans and weekly assignments and projects at regular meetings, and lead the clinical team to ensure service delivery.
  • Ensure support to individuals is aligned with persondirected plans, respectful of their dignity, rights, and wellbeing, and promote safe and healthy environments.
  • Develops and recommends strategic goals for the program(s), analyzing and balancing the needs of key stakeholders, market/funding opportunities, overall organizational strategic goals, and other relevant factors.
  • Resolves moderately complex program concerns or issues, typically related to the reconciliation of service plans which are sometimes sensitive or contentious; considers the needs and objectives of all key stakeholders before moving forward with the development of potential solutions.

Financial Management

  • Identifies and evaluates financial needs for input into budgets within their accounts; monitors, tracks, and reconciles program revenue and staffing expenditures of all assigned cost centers to ensure effective use of all resources and fiscal accountability.
  • Exercises signing authority within prescribed organizational limits; completes payroll for staff under their supervision of clients and therapy sessions.

Staffing, Training, and Development

  • Manages the full cycle of the recruitment and selection process, including proactively identifying recruitment needs, screening, interviewing, hiring, onboarding, and training of supervisory staff within areas of responsibility.
  • Works diligently to create a strong teambased culture within staff groups through the establishment of team norms, goal planning, regularly planned meetings, effective communication strategies, and utilizing conflict resolution skills as needed.
  • Keep current on all related legislative requirements such as the Employment Standards Act, Occupational Health and Safety Act, Services and Supports to Promote the Social Inclusion of Persons with Developmental Disabilities Act, etc.

Performance Management

  • Provides feedback, guidance, and functional advice to supervisory staff concerning their performance at regular intervals and through annual performance appraisals.
  • Coaches and mentor supervisors proactively share and leverage knowledge of the sector and the individuals served; they inspire team members to find creative ways to overcome obstacles and strive for continuous improvement.

Program Administration

  • Maintains appropriate schedules for each area of responsibility based on support needs; adjusts schedules as required by changing circumstances, filling in for staffing gaps as needed.
  • Completes ongoing internal administrative tasks, including reviewing and approving therapy time sheets and aligning with customer service plans.

QUALIFICATIONS:


  • College Diploma OR a Bachelor's degree in human services or a related discipline.
  • Training and/or certification in CPI (Crisis Prevention), Conflict Management, Leadership, Disability Studies, Applied Behavioral Analysis an asset.
  • Handson experience with service planning and service plan budgets.
  • Minimum of 7 years of related experience in a supervisory/management capacity, including experience coordinating, scheduling, and supporting organizational activities and projects.
  • Strong knowledge of the Developmental Services sector.
  • Knowledge of Autism Spectrum Disorder and evidencebased treatment models and approaches.
  • People management, including mentoring, coaching, training, and development.
  • Competency and effective use of database systems.
  • Working knowledge of related legislation and regulations such as the Employme
