Position SummaryThe National Sales Specialist I - Pathology Imaging is the key customer-facing contact point for LBS. The associate is responsible to represent and sell the Pathology Imaging portfolio nationwide. They are responsible for managing all aspects of the business and drive strategy and customer relationship.
Develop and execute successful sales strategies for rapid revenue growth and market share expansion nationwide. Work collaboratively with Sales, Service and Applications counterparts to achieve Leica Biosystems performance targets. Exceed customer expectations.
Major Responsibilities
Achieve annual product sales goals set nationwide
Work in coordination with the teams in the different regions
Maintain accurate and timely opportunity funnel and customer data in SFDC with coaching as needed
Achieve high levels of customer satisfaction through delivery of sales and support assistance
Coordinate and conduct product demos, installs, and customer training with assistance when required
Work with prospective and current customers to increase Leica Biosystems' influence and presence across account base
Monitor and report competitive activities and strategies
Utilize Strategic Selling tools (Blue sheets) with mentorship and guidance
Learn products and use LBS Tools (DOMO, Showpad, TBR, etc.), and DBS
Maintains, updates and owns pricing strategy and executes on RFP submissions with assistance from commercial team
Presentation of product portfolio; solid Pathology Imaging understanding and knowledge and relevant selling techniques
Focused on Customer Partnership with Customer Business Review (CBR) with assistance from Sales Manager
Required Education, Experience, Skills
Education:
BA/BS Degree preferred or equivalent work experience. Degree in scientific and/or healthcare focus strongly preferred
Experience/ Skills:
Minimum 3-5 years relevant sales (or equivalent) experience
Demonstrates and applies expanded conceptual knowledge in own discipline; with an understanding of related disciplines
Applies understanding of key business drivers to prioritize and accomplish own work
Solves problems in straightforward situations independently; analyzes possible solutions using technical experience, judgment, and precedents
Prior capital and/or consumables sales experience
Proven time management skills
Proven contract negotiation and high-level selling experience, or selling in a matrixed environment
Experience with Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
Demonstrate leadership, mentorship, exemplary work ethic and model behavior consistent with Danaher Core Values amongst peers, across the BUs, and cross functional teams
Desired Education, Experience, Skills
Experience/Skills:
Digital imaging or microscopy experience preferred
Travel:
50-75%
Must possess a valid driver's license
Ability to travel overnight for territory coverage (if applicable) and/or for company meetings
Language:
English and French required (verbal and written)
