Position Summary:
Human resource assists employees and managers in integrating into the company and are the first point of contact and the initial face of the company.
Position Duties:
The following duties

Primary Responsibilities:
- Onboarding of new employees in all departments
- Contact for workplace injury as well as producing incident reports and WSIB form
- Job postings/improving recruitment
- Stay current with competitive wages
- Recruitment and staffing/retention
- Training and learning
- Work on action plans to better structure and improve department efficiency
- Produce and present KPI for the department
- Produce and monitor employee disciplines
- Ensure employee files are organized and in order
- Shut down/Statutory holidays organizing and planning
- Produce MEMO's and announcements required
- Review Handbook to ensure accuracy
- Monitoring benefits/disability
- Labor and employee relations
- Developing, promoting, and enforcing company policies
Additional Responsibilities:
- Health and Safety tasks in collaboration with the committee
- Create, revise, and maintain processes and procedures within the department
- Maintain an orderly workflow according to priorities
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Provide guidance
Education:
- College Diploma or bachelor's degree in business
- Human Resource
Experience:
- Minimum of two (2) years related work experience in human resource
- Experience interacting with employees
Licenses/Certificates:
- Human Resource

- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Attentive to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Strong interpersonal skills

- Able to explain ideas to people with varying levels of knowledge
- Be able to work within deadlines and budgets.
- Excellent Oral and Written communication skills (Bilingual; English/French preferred)
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize
- Able to maintain a high standard of professionalism
Working Conditions:
This job is performed in an office environment, and generally requires 50% sitting, 25% walking, and 25% standing. Occasional lifting, carrying, pushing, and/or pulling may be required from time to time. Frequent computer use, involving visual concentration and significant fine finger dexterity, is also required in this role.
Hours of Work:
- Monday to Friday (8:30 am 5:00 pm)
- 1hour lunch (unpaid)
