Innova Physio & Sports Rehab, Hamilton
Hours: 30-40 hr/week
Salary:
Competitive, based on experience
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the implementation of physical therapy treatment plans under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist.
- Provide support to patients during therapy sessions, ensuring their comfort and safety.
- Help patients with exercises, stretches, and other therapeutic activities.
- Monitor and record patient progress, reporting any changes or concerns to the supervising therapist.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in therapy areas.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care.
- Participate in ongoing professional development and training opportunities.
Requirements:
- Completion of a recognized Physical Therapy Assistant program.
- Current certification or registration as a Physical Therapy Assistant in Ontario.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Compassion, patience, and a genuine desire to help others.
Previous experience of 2 years in a healthcare setting required.
