Job summary
DOF Subsea Canada is seeking a detailed oriented and client focused individual for the position of Survey Engineer / Technician. The role involves collaborating with offshore and onshore personnel.
Responsibilities
- Install and maintain survey equipment throughout offshore operations;
- Troubleshoot faulty equipment; provide inventory listings, and equipment fault reports;
- Responsible for the installation and testing of survey equipment and systems, as well as the maintenance of survey equipment and systems;
- Setup networks and interface survey sensors to the online system;
- Familiar with serial data protocols, ethernet comms, fibre optics;
- Make up and terminate all types of cabling for interfacing; antennas, networks, serial data, video,, subsea sensors etc.
