Join a Team that's Raising the Consulting Bar
At CCEM Strategies, we are setting new standards in emergency management and business continuity. We don't settle for old-school, cookie-cutter solutions.

Rather, our clients come to us for effective strategies that are tailored not only to their specific requirements, but also to the unique needs of the communities they serve.

We are on a mission to enhance community resilience by working with clients in various industries, including (but not limited to) local, provincial, and federal government, First Nations, and industry clients associated with energy delivery, tourism, transportation, and manufacturing.

We strategize creatively to deliver solutions that help our clients, and their communities prepare for, respond to, and recover from emergencies confidently.

What you'll do
As a Business/Program Analyst, you will work with numerous clients on a variety of projects.

CCEM's process is collaborative and we work as a team to provide a consistent level of excellence and commit to only delivering truly fantastic end products.

Our portfolio is growing and we are looking for someone who has a keen eye for detail in gathering, collating, analyzing and presenting data in a clean and concise manner.

While working closely with others in the team, you will:

  • Conduct research and review documentation to identify and synthesize industry standards, leading practices, regulatory requirements, and legislation to inform client solutions.
  • Prepare data collection methods and associated tools.
  • Collate, assess, and clean datasets to identify and concisely summarize notable observations and findings.
  • Develop and manage practical documentation for client initiatives (such as, but not limited to, plans, technical procedures, research and summary reports, meeting notes and summaries).
  • Assist in monitoring projects, such as tracking project progress through the collation and analysis of data and presentation of results.
  • Uphold CCEM's established level of excellence in every deliverable

What we offer
The work we do is as important and demanding as it is impactful and rewarding.

Our workplace culture stems from a shared understanding of the significance and purpose of our work, and the need to balance that with an environment where we are encouraged to unwind and respect downtime.

We offer a flexible hybrid work model (2-4 days in-office) with the opportunity to set your own schedule around CCEM's core hours for optimal work-life balance.

We dedicate time to connect both virtually and through regular in-person team outings and activities.

We extend our care for the community through CCEM's give-back initiatives to support causes that are meaningful to our team members.

CCEM rewards excellence with competitive base salaries and performance-based bonuses and incentives so that your earning potential is always aligned with the value you bring.

In addition, our perks and benefits include:

  • RRSP matching
  • Starting allocation of 3 weeks' vacation
  • Extended health and dental benefits
  • Annual professional development allowance
  • Employee referral incentive program
  • Client referral incentive program

So, are you a fit?
We are a high-achieving, growth focused, and highly collaborative team.

We hold ourselves and each other to a consistent level of excellence and commit to only delivering truly fantastic end-products.

We take pride in going above and beyond our clients' expectations and are motivated by the rave reviews we receive.

Chances are, you're right for this role if you

  • Feel energized and thrive in fastpaced environments; you think on your feet and are always ready to pivot
  • Like to think outside the box, are a master problem solver and continually bring new ideas
  • Sweat the details that others might think are inconsequential
  • Embrace feedback, both positive and constructive, as fuel for improvement
Think you've got what it takes? Yay Here are a few more boxes we're also hoping you can tick:

  • Academic degree or certification in Business, Sociology, Political Sciences, Business Continuity, Emergency Management or equivalent work experience (two or more years of progressive experience) is preferred.
  • Critical and analytical thinker.
  • Ability to work on multiple projects and initiatives.
  • Comfort with evolving deadlines and projectspecific requirements.
  • Keen learner with a desire to pursue continual development opportunities.
  • Sound research and analytical abilities and demonstrated experience in research, data analysis, policy analysis and communicating findings.
  • Intermediate skills in Microsoft Excel and related tools with proficiency in data analysis and manipulation skills (ideally, you will love a good pivot table and possibly delight in the power of INDEX/MATCH and XLOOKUP).
  • Able to translate complex concepts into concise and actionable ideas.
  • Proficient in successfully integrating and support
