We are looking for a crew of efficient, safety-minded people to aid our organization in our construction development._Shanghai Construction Group Canada Corporation is a Construction Company for underground Tunneling. Now we are hiring Construction Laborer
Responsibilities:
- Perform setup and cleanup tasks at job site.
- Provide labor support by conducting general laborer duties associated with excavating, underground activities as needed
- Manual labor including shoveling, sweeping, raking, etc.; as well as operation of various power tools as required.
- Must have a strong work ethic and an ability to work in a team setting.
- Encompassing good communication skills for the ability to communicate with supervisors, coworkers, etc. in a courteous, and professional manner at all times.
- Ensure a safe work environment in compliance with all safety policies and procedures.
- Be willing to work evenings, weekends, and overtime when necessary (812 hour shifts; 56 days a week).
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Safety tickets: Fall Protection, Confined Space and H2S Alive, CSTS
- Experience with working underground and/or tunneling would be an asset
- Must be able to pass preemployment medical and drug screening
Schedule:
- 8hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Potential Overtime
Salary:
From $20.00 per hour
