$4/hr shift premiums on Nights & $2/hr shift premiums on Weekends

Role Summary:
Key Accountabilities:
- Overseeing warehouse operations and assist team with replenishing, picking, palletizing orders, shipping and receiving, inventory control and maintaining proper housekeeping of warehouse environment.
- Ensure accuracy in shipping and receiving of products in an efficient and timely manner while following proper procedures.
- Monitor staff performance; assist/ train when and where necessary.
- Operate machinery in a safe and controlled manner.
- Keep open communication with manager and provide updates as required.
- Perform other duties as required.
Education, Skills & Experience:
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
- Excellent problem solving and decisionmaking ability
- Ability to quickly prioritize, resolve and followup on issues.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Minimum 2 years of warehouse team lead or supervisory experience
- Strong leadership skills; able to inspire and coach staff.
- Train the Trainer experience is an asset.
- 2 years forklift experience
- Must have intermediate computer skills and MS Office skills.
- Experience using WMS systems in a distribution environment, knowledge of NAV would be an asset.
- Ability to work in a physically demanding environment.
- Knowledge of warehouse inventory techniques & guidelines
- Knowledge of industry Health & Safety Compliance

Salary:
$23.00-$26.00 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate:
- Kitchener, ON N2B 3X9: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
