Role Summary:


Key Accountabilities:


  • Overseeing warehouse operations and assist team with replenishing, picking, palletizing orders, shipping and receiving, inventory control and maintaining proper housekeeping of warehouse environment.
  • Ensure accuracy in shipping and receiving of products in an efficient and timely manner while following proper procedures.
  • Monitor staff performance; assist/ train when and where necessary.
  • Operate machinery in a safe and controlled manner.
  • Keep open communication with manager and provide updates as required.
  • Perform other duties as required.

Education, Skills & Experience:


  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
  • Excellent problem solving and decisionmaking ability
  • Ability to quickly prioritize, resolve and followup on issues.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
  • Minimum 2 years of warehouse team lead or supervisory experience
  • Strong leadership skills; able to inspire and coach staff.
  • Train the Trainer experience is an asset.
  • 2 years forklift experience
  • Must have intermediate computer skills and MS Office skills.
  • Experience using WMS systems in a distribution environment, knowledge of NAV would be an asset.
  • Ability to work in a physically demanding environment.
  • Knowledge of warehouse inventory techniques & guidelines
  • Knowledge of industry Health & Safety Compliance

Salary:
$23.00-$26.00 per hour
