We are looking for a Business Intelligence Specialist on a 12-month contract opportunity who will support our teams in the development and execution of strategies by providing category data and insights.

You will get involved in stakeholder communications and maintaining relationships with multiple business functions.

Here's where you'll be focusing:

Business Intelligence Execution:

Produce accurate reports and complete analysis to put forward suggestions to improve financial results, processes, and business improvements
Provide expertise and practical assistance in the ad hoc investigation, evaluation, and interpretation of data, themes, and trends
Integrate multiple sources of data and insight into a cohesive, consultative, presentation into internal clients
Manage large analytical project and help develop new reports/views of data for business stakeholders
Provide analytics for forward looking category metrics and provide insight to support and/or recommend a revised perspective on the various levers within Category Management
Analyze business and market trends for private label, ecommerce and related business to recommend new strategies for improve category performance
Develop relations within the business clientele and integrate analytical views into their decisionmaking process.
Develop enhanced data processing for automation of reporting where appropriate
Troubleshoot and improve existing reporting as required
Knowledgeable in working large data set in multiple database platforms
Subject matter expert for SQL server processes
Subject matter expert for Tableau visualization

What you have to offer:

Undergraduate degree and at least 5 years experience in analytic roles
Experience in retail or CPG environment
Advanced communication and consulting capabilities, generated through many years of analyst and business experiences
Handson expertise in Tableau, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint
Ability to do complex modeling in Excel and design and execute complex SAS queries
