Role At a Glance:

The Receptionist is responsible for greeting clients, visitors and employees at the office as well as various front desk tasks: answering phones, taking messages and receiving deliveries.

This role is full-time Monday to Friday, and will require hours of work between 8:00am to 4:30pm each day at our Kitchener office location.

Additional projects and assignments will be determined based on business needs and personal development interests that align as the business continues to grow.

What You Will Do:

Answering, forwarding, and screening phone calls
Receiving visitors at the front desk by greeting, welcoming, directing and announcing them appropriately
Maintaining telecommunication system by following manufacturer's instructions for house phone and console operation
Assist with meeting room bookings and arranging lunches for various meetings and seminars
Preparing general correspondence
Arranging couriers and processing courier invoices and waybills
Maintaining security by following procedures; monitoring logbook
Performing administrative duties as required

What You Bring to the Table:

Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
Meticulous and accurate typing and proofreading skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
Strong organizational skills
Professionalism
