The Sports Information and Promotion Coordinator develops and implements communications and promotions plan to help promote a variety of sport programs and services at Royal Military College (RMC) through, but not limited to, social media and website content management.
They ensure that conference and national Ontario University Association/University Sports (OUA/USPORTS) result reporting and webcasting requirements are followed and met.
They establish means to increase student engagement at athletic department events.They develop content and coordinate production of game day publications, game day scripting, media guides, sport programs, competitive calendar and recruiting brochures.
They coordinate the content, design, and maintenance of the RMC Athletics web site keeping the pages current, accurate and within university and Department of National Defence (DND) standards.
QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED Education, Certifications and Licenses**College diploma or certificate in Sports Administration, Marketing, Public Affairs, Journalism, Digital Media or in a related field AND several years of experience in sports administration or a related field
