What You'll Be Doing
Be the friendly first point of contact—greeting visitors, answering calls, and responding to emails with professionalism and care
Support day-to-day administrative operations, including mail handling and filing (both electronic and hard copy)
Manage bookkeeping duties using QuickBooks—creating and sending quotes, estimates, and invoices, handling reconciliations, and keeping data up to date
Oversee accounts receivable and assist with banking deposits and cheque tracking
Keep the company website current by creating, updating, and posting content
Prepare shipping quotes and assist with small errands as needed (e.g., post office, office supply store)
Apply your practical know-how with construction basics, such as reading simple PDF line drawings and understanding measurements
Jump in where needed, anticipate next steps, and take ownership of tasks to help the team stay ahead
What You Bring
Completion of post-secondary education
Minimum of 3 years of experience in administrative support (preferred)
At least 3 years of bookkeeping experience (required)
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Adobe Reader)
Bonus Skills That Will Make You Shine
Experience formatting data and proposals
Solid mathematical skills (measurements, area calculations, etc.)
Familiarity with website posting tools
Exceptional written and verbal communication
Strong organizational and time management abilities
Skilled multitasker who thrives in a busy environment
Process-oriented and detail-driven mindset
A touch of creativity in writing or presentation—always a plus
