Job Summary:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in operating laser cutting machines to cut and shape materials according to specifications.
  • Support in monitoring machine performance.
  • Assist in preventive maintenance on laser cutting machines.
  • Aid in ensuring quality assurance and recordkeeping during laser cutting operations.
  • Support troubleshooting tasks and preventive maintenance.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient production processes.
  • Assist in following written instructions, drawings, and schedules to ensure accurate production.
  • Participate in preparing raw materials for production and the assembly of final products for shipping.
  • Contribute to ensuring compliance with safety protocols during laser cutting operations.
  • Support in recording machine settings and job notes in custom software.
  • Any additional tasks deemed necessary by the employer.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • 1 year prior experience in operating 2D and/or Tube laser cutting machines.
  • Experience working with Trumpf laser cutting equipment is considered an asset
  • Capable of reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs without assistance.
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent problemsolving skills.
  • Good verbal and written communication skill
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Willingness to perform any tasks deemed necessary by the employer
  • Demonstrates a strong commitment to reliability and punctuality
