Join a locally owned and operated store to help deliver health, beauty and convenience services in your community, and keep the customer at the centre of everything you do. Managing the customer service functions, including cashiers and merchandising.Why this role is important? Ensures cashier/merchandising staff comply with all store policies and operating procedures Trains cashiers/merchandisers in job functions Provides on-going guidance and instruction Ensures all loss prevention standards are implemented manages daily cash office inventory and cashier tracking tracking sheets PC Optimum procedures Ensures store employees present proper image to the public in accordance with Uniform Policy Answers inquiries regarding location of product rainchecks etc Resolves customer issues according to established guidelines refunds exchanges etc Promotes the CSI Survey Ensures shelves are clean organized with proper rotation Ensures product displays are set up taken down as directed by the AFSM/FSM Maintains high level cleanliness within food area Complies with all Health Safety requirements May be asked to perform clerical banking duties Complies with all store policies procedures Complies with loss prevention policies ensures they are executed in the store Performs other duties as required including Cashier duties when necessary Planning Judgement Decision Making Independent thinking organizing store Problem solving ensuring customer satisfaction Computer literate Organized Efficient time management skills Knowledge products supplies Why work in a Shoppers Drug Mart store Each has an Associate-Owner so will work for local business owner while having support of national brand Benefit from purchase discount program flexible varied schedules competitive pay online learning through Academy Take ownership find more ways care about patients coworkers customers community Associate Owners network recognize Canadas diversity opportunity better serve communities strive reflect nations evolving diversity products sold people hired culture created stores Accommodation available upon request applicants colleagues disabilities In addition we believe compliance laws doing right thing Upholding law part Code Conduct reinforces what customers stakeholders expect us
