Due to the continued rapid growth and expansion of the water group in Ontario, we are seeking an
Intermediate to Senior Site Inspector in the Water/Wastewater
field , to be based in our
Greater Toronto Area offices.

We are seeking applicants with diversified experience in site inspection and administration activities, for both greenfield and brownfield water and wastewater treatment plants, and sewage pump station projects.


Responsibilities include:


  • Fulltime site inspections/contract administration assistance on water and wastewater projects
  • Primary liaison with Plant & Owner staff on general contract issues and coordination of works
  • A daily detailed report, record, & photo keeping
  • Review of monthly payment draws, and review of paymentrelated administrative procedures
  • Providing feedback and working with design engineers, contractors, and owners to resolve field issues
  • Keeping postconstruction records and providing progress reports to construction teams
  • Working with the construction team to ensure construction safety procedures are being followed
  • Implementing and monitoring inspection procedures in accordance with professional and corporate guidelines, including quality control
  • Able to work extended hours as the project requires
  • Ability to travel to, and reside locally if vital, as required for projects
  • Completing required training including but not limited to Confined Space Entry and Working at Heights
  • Work outdoors in all weather conditions
  • Mentoring of junior and intermediate staff
  • Assist contract administrator with the issuance of all site instructions, and other administration correspondence
  • Assist contract administrator and engineering team with review of shop drawings
  • Assist with reporting on, and negotiating resolutions to construction issues with contractor and owner representatives.
  • Assisting with conducting site meetings and writing site meeting minute reports

Skills, Competencies ,
and Qualifications:


  • Minimum 510 years of experience, in water and/or wastewater treatment plant, and pumping station construction projects.
  • CET designation, or PEO EIT or P.Eng. designation. Equivalent training and or work experience may be considered.
  • Valid Class 'G' driver's license
  • Collaboration ability with strong written and oral communication skills
  • Sound judgment and ability to work independently and take initiative
  • Experience in design of sewer & water main work
  • AutoCAD, BIM, MS Project, and Primavera P6 experience is an asset
  • Previous training and experience in confined space entry and/or Working at Heights training preferred
  • Certification as a Certified Inspector of Sediment & Erosion Control (CISEC) is an asset
