Job description
Fabrication Support Technician is responsible to assisst the Fabrication Shop Supervisor on all activities to meet fabrication schedules such as ensuring that all parts are properly fitted, aligned and secured and ensuring that safety standards are always met, among other duties

Responsibilities

What you will be doing as Fabrication Support:

Practice safe conduct, including operation of electrical devices, cutting equipment, pallet jacks, forklifts, and other material handling equipment
Operater fabrication machines, such as grinders, drill presses, brakes, and band saw to cut, bend, grind and adjust materials
Check measurements and dimensions of each piece that's being worked on with rulers, measuring tapes or squares
Verifying dimensions and product specifications.
Regularly checking products for quality and basic troubleshooting
Working in a team environment
Build strong crossfunctional relationships across operations
Sorting and packing parts and other duties as asigned

Qualifications

Minimum of 6 months experience in a fabrication company
Work boots or shoes required
Able to repeatedly lift up to 25lbs (10 kg).
Comfortable working in a loud fabrication environment (hearing protection provided)

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent

Salary:
$18.00-$23.00 per hour
