What you'll be doing
As a Consultant, Digital Strategy, you are accountable for supporting the development of Digital product and platform strategy to build the bank of the future.
- Digital Roadmap and Strategy:_ _Maintain the Digital roadmap and vision for the portfolio of work you support. Proactively identify new opportunities that will solve client and business problems in alignment with the Canadian Banking strategy and provide recommendations to leadership. Prioritize features and projects for delivery, provide updates, and secure funding.
- Digital Product Discovery: ˆIdentify new opportunities that will drive higher digital adoption across our Digital channels. This includes setting clear objectives, analyzing data, exploring ideas, investigating feasibility and prioritizing outputs.

Competitive Assessments:
_ _Proactively scan the market to identify and assess new and emerging industry trends, customer needs, digital capabilities and the competitive landscape, including CIBC's standing.
- Cross-
Functional Collaboration:
Work closely with your peers in Strategy & Innovation (Strategy leads, Design, UX Research) as well as other teams in Digital (Product Owners, Data/Analytics, Developers, etc) and other stakeholders within the bank to provide competitive intelligence and functional insights for strategic projects, ensure alignment with Digital Strategy objectives, planning and presentations.
This role acts as a bridge between different teams, facilitating high communication and collaboration and involves a high degree of stakeholder management.
- Business Casing:_ _Support the development of business cases and quantifying ROI and payback period on strategic initiatives.
- People Coaching: Provide coaching, and mentorship to junior members of the Digital Strategy team.
The Consultant, Digital Strategy is expected to work cross functionally and will be exposed to teams and leaders across the organization as the 'go-to' in these areas.
