Kingston United Soccer Club (KUSC) is looking for someone with a passion for youth sport to join us as our next General Manager. As the only club between Ottawa and the GTA to be awarded a National Youth Club License by Canada Soccer, KUSC is committed to providing high-quality soccer programs in a safe and healthy environment for players of all abilities. We're united by our dedication to the development of better players, coaches and officials so everyone can achieve their potential whether at the recreational, development, competitive, or high
- performance level in the Ontario Player Development League (OPDL).


Primary Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Manages the daytoday administrative operations of the club in accordance with club policies and procedures
  • Ensures that club technical staff have the administrative support they need
  • Supervise parttime administrative staff
  • Book fields and facilities for indoor and outdoor programming and manage payments
  • Responsible for communication with members regarding updates in programming including updating the website
  • Lead administrative contact for club with youth soccer regulatory bodies including Canada Soccer, Ontario Soccer, the Southeastern Ontario Soccer Association (SOSA), and regional soccer leagues
  • Communicates administrative information to competitive coaches and staff
  • Organize the competitive tournament with respect to volunteers, food trucks, permits, logistics, and communication
  • Book facilities and organize summer camps
  • Acquire sponsorships for club programs, including recreational soccer (House League)
  • Oversee marketing and social media activities
  • Monitor club expenses and revenues and report financial information to the board; maintain financial records necessary for the annual audit

Qualifications:


  • Diploma or Bachelor degree in Sports Management, Business Management or a related field.
  • Experience in sports program administration with strong organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Police vulnerable sector check.
