Rotation/Shifts:

Days, including weekends, 8 hour shifts (06:3014:30, 11:0019:00)

Basic Requirements:

High school diploma;
Community college Health Care Aide Course or equivalent;
Six (6) months recent experience in the delivery of direct patient care (i.e. Nursing Aide, Orderly, PCA, Nursing Assistant and Registered Practical Nurse);
Knowledge of universal blood and body fluid precautions;
Knowledge of proper lifting techniques;
Demonstrates a respectful attitude to patients, the public and colleagues;
Demonstrates ability to work effectively without constant supervision;
Demonstrates ability to cooperate with others in a high stress, busy workplace.
