Aroma Espresso Bar Canada is a rapidly growing franchise focused on making great coffee and fresh, nutritious food to order.

As an Aroma Espresso Bar Cook, you will be responsible for prepping ingredients, maintaining your kitchen, and preparing delicious meals to order.


Location:
Markville Mall - Markham


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
The roles and responsibilities of the job include some of the following:

  • Passion for freshness and good food
  • Commitment to food safety standards and protocols
  • Ability to work in a fastpaced working environment
  • Maintaining prep levels and ensuring FIFO is followed
  • Restocking, doing inventory, and assisting with order placement
  • Maintaining high standard of cleanliness throughout the kitchen
  • Communication with other team members in both the Front and Back of House

REQUIREMENTS:


  • Applicants with past experience at Aroma Espresso Bar will be prioritized.
  • Available to work mornings, evenings and weekends
  • Positive attitude and a passion for food
  • Experience working with food is a must.
  • Must possess Ontario approved
    FOOD HANDLER CERTIFICATE:
  • Must be able to lift 25-30lbs

Job Type:
Preferably Full-time (will consider Part-Time)


Experience:

Line Cook: 2 year + (preferred)


Job Types:
Part-time, Permanent

Part-time hours: 24-30 per week


Salary:
From $16.00 per hour


Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Day shift
  • Evening shift
  • Holidays
  • Monday to Friday
  • Weekend availability

Supplemental pay types:

  • Tips

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Markham, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:


  • Cooking: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

  • Food Safe, SafeCheck, Food Handler or equivalent (preferred)
