Job Descrip4on:
An appren(ce is someone learning how to do a specialized job through on-the-job training,
under the guidance of an experienced colleague. Appren(ces will work in the CNC Machining, Fixture or
Automa(on industry. This role involves tasks such as adhering to workplace procedures, following health and
safety guidance, upda(ng training records, and comple(ng tasks to gain a qualifica(on. Appren(ces should be
hard-working and able to manage their (me effec(vely, be able to follow orders, and be comfortable working as
part of a team.

Department Manager


Primary Du4es and Responsibili4es:

Responsible for the execu(on of tasks as listed below to ensure our products meet or exceed quality standards.

  • Par(cipate in as many learning opportuni(es as possible
  • Assis(ng within the relevant department, but also learning about other aspects of the company
  • Observing health and safety procedures
  • Posi(vely receiving feedback
  • Operate a wide variety of hand tools (drills, grinders, etc.)
  • Strong mechanical ap(tude
  • Ability to communicate and follow direc(on
  • Other du(es as required by the Department Manager

Skills & Experience:


  • Understand basic measurement fundamentals
  • Mechanically inclined
  • Diligence: willing to put in the extra (me and effort to build your knowledge and experience
  • Time Management: meet hard deadlines and work to strict schedules
  • Cri(cal Thinking: ability to resolve the issue at hand
  • Interpersonal Skills: follow instruc(ons clearly and work well as part of a team
  • Troubleshoo(ng: iden(fying problems and finding ways to resolve them

Requirements:


  • Ability to work in fast paced / team environment
  • Valid Ontario Driver's license and Canadian Passport
  • Ability to travel to site loca(ons
  • Proper tools for Assembly and Measurement
  • Follow all Health and Safety procedures

Educa4on:


  • Minimum High School diploma.
  • Mo(vated to complete an appren(ceship aVer proba(onary period
