    Job Description

    In this role you will:

  • Be responsible for driving technical and operational improvements across outbound, inbound and reverse logistics journeys
  • Focus on leading our TMS Implementation to manage visibility with our Ocean, Air, Truck, Distribution and our Supply Chain Teams
  • Work with the TMS Project Management, Logistics, Supply Chain and Sourcing teams to plan and implement improvements to internal/external logistics systems
  • Lead the onboarding of new TMS and API provider while collaborating with the various stakeholders to ensure all developmental needs, backlogs and velocity is maintained and exceeded while creating a seamless TMS visibility transition
  • With your TMS and Project management experience, you will collaborate with Merchandising, Supply Chain, Sourcing, Logistics, Accounting and Distribution teams to ensure effective flow of goods through both domestic and global supply chain resources
  • You will act as a mentor within the growing department, providing direction and ensuring compliance on best practices, latest tools, trends and global/local market intelligence in both logistics and supply chain
  • You will also be required to take part in Logistical daily and weekly tasks and evaluate Key Performance Metrics (KPMs) to determine departmental success
  • Analyze all aspects of ongoing and new projects aligned to our operational efficiency strategies
  • Partner with logistical vendors to build strong relationships and identifying ways to improve our implementation processes to create high impact to the customer experience
  • Ideally you will be able to identify new carriers service solutions by evaluating their potential on cost and impact to our goal of supply chain process improvements
  • Assist in developing new solutions to distribution challenges affecting external/internal customers while managing multiple global and domestic carrier relations and meeting business objectives
  • Qualifications

    The Qualifications and Experience we like to see:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Engineering or a related field
  • A minimum of 5-7 years international and domestic freight forwarding experience in a high volume, fast moving retail and/or e-commerce transportation domain
  • Certification in CITT, P.Log., CIFFA, CCLOP and/or Customs Brokerage License is a definite asset
  • Strong knowledge Transportation Management Systems and Global API connectivity in a high volume transportation/distribution OmniChannel retail environment
  • Having a strong knowledge of Jira, Agile Methodologies and working within a Scrum is an absolute must
  • Previous project management experience is a definite asset
  • Proficient in Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, formulas) as well as Word, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Teams
  • Exceptional analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Strong verbal, written and presentation skills
  • Ability to collaborate and build strong relationships with all departments and levels both internally and externally
  • Ability to manage conflicting priorities and competing deadlines
  • Bilingual in French is an asset, but not required
