Your Role and Responsibilities

_Responsibilities:
_

Determine method of shipment and prepare bills of lading, customs forms, invoices and other shipping documents
Oversee loading and unloading of materials from trucks
Inspect and verify incoming materials against packing slips or other documents, record shortages and reject damaged goods
Unpack, code and route goods to appropriate areas
Count, weigh, sort, pack and unpack materials
Maintain internal recordkeeping systems
Operate a lift truck and crane to load and unload materials onto and off trucks and loading docks, and to transport and store materials
Count, weigh, sort, pack and unpack materials
Operate a lift truck and/ or crane to load and unload materials onto and off trucks and loading docks
Clearing work area of all potential hazards
Proper staging and routing techniques for daily inventories of bins, parts and raw materials
Operation of FIFO system
Operation of POS system
Maintain accurate records of the amount, kind and location of parts and supplies on hand
Understand the proper flow of all documentation and records associated with material handling
Process, release and/or distribute parts and supplies for external usage
Recognize potential shortages of parts/materials and advise Area Leader
Follow MOS's relevant to position
5 S activities as required
All other relevant duties

_Key Requirements__:
_**- Grade 12 Diploma or equivalent of education and experience

_Additional Technical and Professional Requirements__:
_**- Safe Operation of a Forklift and Propane Handling
