We have an exciting opportunity for a full-time Director, Warehousing and Manufacturing Automation to join our Supply Chain and Manufacturing team in Langley, BC.


Reporting to the Senior Vice President, Supply Chain and Manufacturing, you will be responsible for providing recommendations and execution for optimal automation solutions for warehousing and manufacturing.


You will be responsible for:

  • Completing a competitive analysis on current automation usage in warehousing and manufacturing industry.
  • Determining the most effective automation solutions for future initiatives and current state.
  • Evaluating, building, and developing costeffective plans for maintenance and service recommendations provided either 3rd party or inhouse.
  • Developing future organizational structure and succession plans.
  • Developing collaborative stakeholder relationships.
  • Continuous evaluation of automation initiatives and vendor/market analysis to deliver recommendations for future success.
  • Communicating initiatives and timelines including reporting on KPI's.
  • Delivering on agreed budgets and results.

You have:

  • 10+ years of experience with engineering, logistics/supply chain, or distribution field. 10+ years of experience in warehouse and/or manufacturing automation. 10+ years of senior leadership experience including employee training/skill development and succession planning. Advanced Excel, Visio, and AutoCAD skills. Intermediate Power BI and SQL skills. A diploma or bachelor's degree in engineering or related discipline. Certified in Lean & Six Sigma Black Belt is an asset. A deep understanding of automation technologies such as robotics, automated storage, and retrieval systems (AS/RS), conveyor systems, and autonomous vehicles. Knowledge of regulatory compliance, industry innovation, trends, and vendor management.

Compensation Details:
$121, $162,000.00

The compensation offered for this position will take into consideration location, education, skills, experience, and other factors.
