RESPONSIBILITIES:

Review invoices for the proper authorization.
Key in a consistent volume of accounts payable invoices each month (typically 1000 bills/month), matching of all source documents, and ensuring appropriate GL distribution.
Midvolume expense reimbursements and credit card statements.
Manage and maintain existing and new vendor setups.
Input payment transactions and run cheques
Correspondence with branches.
Communicate with vendors on invoices, receiving and payments of outstanding accounts.
Completion of other accounting duties and projects as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum 2 years of experience in accounts payable or similar role
Demonstrate excellent communication skills, both written and oral
Experience in a fastpaced and highvolume collections environment
Ability to problem solve, multitask, work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines
Proficient with Excel, Word and MS Outlook
Dynamics D365 experience would be an asset
Basic accounting knowledge
Strong attention to detail, organization and multitasking skills
Ability to effectively work in a team environment

Salary Range:
$45,000 - $55,000 DOE
