RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Review invoices for the proper authorization.
- Key in a consistent volume of accounts payable invoices each month (typically 1000 bills/month), matching of all source documents, and ensuring appropriate GL distribution.
- Midvolume expense reimbursements and credit card statements.
- Manage and maintain existing and new vendor setups.
- Input payment transactions and run cheques
- Correspondence with branches.
- Communicate with vendors on invoices, receiving and payments of outstanding accounts.
- Completion of other accounting duties and projects as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in accounts payable or similar role
- Demonstrate excellent communication skills, both written and oral
- Experience in a fastpaced and highvolume collections environment
- Ability to problem solve, multitask, work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines
- Proficient with Excel, Word and MS Outlook
- Dynamics D365 experience would be an asset
- Basic accounting knowledge
- Strong attention to detail, organization and multitasking skills
- Ability to effectively work in a team environment
Salary Range:
$45,000 - $55,000 DOE
