About us


Starboard Seafood Group, part of Premium Brands Holding, is a leader in importing and distributing fresh and frozen seafood products from around the world to the Ontario and Quebec provinces.


We are looking for an experienced and efficient Warehouse and Operation Manager to manage the processes of ordering, receiving and shipping inventory in our fast-paced warehouse.

The ideal applicant will ensure that all inventory is stored correctly, will adhere to safety standards while on the job and will monitor staff members' work on a regular basis to ensure that they are performing at their best.


Duties include:


  • Supervises warehouse staffs (cutters, packers, drivers)
  • Manages schedules, workload, and overtime
  • Responsible and accountable for all shipping, receiving, and distribution activities to make sure all internal processes are preserved and are accurately completed in a timely manner
  • Take accurate inventory of fresh and frozen products
  • Maintains good working condition of trucks and equipments
  • Must willing to work any shift when required

Assets:


  • Some background in Seafood knowledge an asset
  • Some HACCP knowledge is an asset
  • Management experience under a public company is an asset
  • Cutting experience is an asset

Requirements:


  • Minimum 3 years of warehouse suervision experience
  • Basic computing skills in
  • Good leadership abilities, experience with diverse teams preferred
  • Be able to work as a team & actively participate in all room tasks
  • Belonging to a team that is passionate about food and longterm success
