Posséder des connaissances pratiques dans un ou plusieurs des domaines suivants : mécanique, électricité, plomberie, CVC, menuiserie et/ou peinture.Maîtriser les programmes d'entretien préventif des installations et des équipements.L'expérience avec les appareils de cardio-training, les équipements de musculation, l'entretien des piscines, des spas et des hammams est un atout.Être capable d'identifier et de résoudre les problèmes liés aux installations et aux équipements. Être capable de travailler en équipe ou de façon autonome avec un minimum de supervision. Être capable de travailler sous pression et de respecter les échéances. Être capable de prioriser efficacement son travail. Posséder d'excellentes aptitudes à la communication écrite et orale, et être capable de rédiger des rapports et de remplir des formulaires. Être capable de se déplacer pour intervenir en cas d'urgence en dehors des heures normales de travail. Être flexible et disponible pour des changements d'horaires de travail occasionnels afin de répondre aux besoins des collègues et du club. Être fier de son travail.**Job Description:**Midtown is looking for a **Facility Technician** to ensure that our facilities run smoothly.As an integral part of the facilities team, she or he, would ensure a safe, clean and functional environment for members, guests, and associates.**Facilities Technician responsibilities:**Consistently presenting a pleasant, attentive and courteous attitude toward members, guests and fellow associates Perform inspections, troubleshoot, and repair systems and equipment on a daily basis Providing regular upkeep and maintenance of all club property and equipment Maintaining knowledge of facilities and following through on preventative maintenance standards Complete tasks assigned through our ticketing system flag and report issues**Facilities Technician requirements:**Possess a minimum of three years of experience in facilities maintenance or graduated from a trades school. Have working knowledge in one or all of the following: mechanical equipment, electrical, plumbing, HVAC systems, carpentry, and/or painting Possess functional knowledge of preventative maintenance programs of facilities and plant equipment Experienced with cardio machine, gym equipment, maintaining pools, spa and steam rooms - considered an asset Are able to identify and trouble shoot facility and equipment related issues Able to work with a team or independently with minimum supervision Able to work under pressure, have a sense of urgency to meet deadlines Able to sufficiently prioritize work Effective communicator, demonstrate written and verbal communication skills, write reports and complete forms Able to response to infrequent afterhours emergencies situations using your own means of transportation Flexible with occasional changing work schedule to accommodate colleagues and club needs Taking pride in themselves and their workThis job description is intended to describe the general requirements for the position.
