The Human Resource Generalist is responsible for managing and executing various HR functions, programs, and processes to support the organization's overall business goals and objectives.

This role involves providing HR guidance and support to employees and managers, handling various HR administrative tasks, and contributing to the development and implementation of HR strategies.


Responsibilities:

HR Reporting and Analytics:


  • Generate HR reports and analyze data to provide insights for decisionmaking.

HR Projects and Initiatives:


  • Contribute to the development and implementation of HR strategies and initiatives.
  • Participate in HRrelated projects, such as culture initiatives, and process improvements.

HR Compliance:


  • Maintain accurate HR records and documentation.
-
Training and Development:


  • Identify training needs and coordinate employee development programs.

Benefits and Compensation:


  • Act as a backup for employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other perks.
  • Assist in compensationrelated activities, such as salary benchmarking and annual salary reviews.

Performance Management:


  • Support performance management processes, including goalsetting, performance reviews, and feedback discussions.
  • Provide guidance on performance improvement plans and disciplinary actions.

Recruitment and Onboarding:


  • Coordinate and facilitate new employee onboarding, including orientation and training.

Employee Relations:


  • Provide guidance and support to employees and managers regarding HR policies, procedures, and practices.
  • Mediate and resolve employee conflicts and issues, ensuring a positive work environment.
  • Conduct investigations into employee complaints and concerns.

Other:


  • Other tasks as required
  • Ability to travel to our various locations across Ontario when required

Qualifications:


  • University or College degree or diploma in Human Resources.
  • 3 years of proven experience as an HR Generalist or similar role.
  • Strong understanding of HR best practices, employment laws, and regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office and HRIS systems.
  • Detailoriented, organized, and able to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fastpaced and dynamic environment.
  • Must have a valid drivers license and reliable vehicle
