Kells Counselling and Crossroads Family Services. Kells Counselling provides professional psychological services to address a wide variety of concerns.

Crossroads Family Services is a foster care agency, serving vulnerable children by providing trained, stable, and nurturing foster families, with a disability supports program providing respite, host homes, and clinical services.

Condo Corp and KSG are the property arm of Family Solutions Group. KSG manages and operates the R.K. Ryan Building.

Landscaper / General Labourer

  • Responsibilities
  • Assist the facility manager to ensure that the building and property are maintained at a high level by completing landscaping, cleaning, and maintenance tasks as assigned
  • Assist with work orders for regularly scheduled maintenance and periodic maintenance
  • Assist the facility manager with keeping on timelines for projects
  • Assist with building maintenance and equipment requests
  • Duties may include lawn care, landscaping, plant tending, cleaning, material handling, pressure washing, painting and general maintenance
  • Operate with the highest standards of personal, professional, and ethical conduct
  • Notify supervisor of unusual equipment or operating problems and the need for additional material and supplies
  • Maintain a watchful eye with attention to detail and notify facility manager of any suspicious activity or suspect persons on the premises
  • Ensure all safety precautions are followed while performing the work
  • Ensure proper safety attire is worn and that equipment is always operated in a safe and courteous manner
  • Perform any range of special projects, tasks, and other duties as assigned
  • Ensure to be responsibly dressed for exposure to the outdoors
Education & Experience High School and/or Post Secondary. Experience with landscaping, labour, or construction preferred- Required Skills and Attributes

  • Positive attitude and a sense of humor
  • Keen attention to detail with a drive for efficiency
  • Strong work ethic and drive to succeed
  • Ability to work independently for extended hours
  • Able to work in all weather conditions
  • Strong organization and time management skills
