Description
Junior IT Tech
Expectations
Provide technical assistance and support for incoming queries and issues related to computer systems, software, and hardware
Triage support requests through CRM (Customer Relationship Management)
Respond to client requests by phone or through a CRM system
Provide basic training with clients on Office 365 services and phone system
Maintain daily performance of computer systems
Be thorough with notes
Ability to be patient with customers through the problem-solving process
Install, modify, and repair computer hardware and software
Clean up computers
Run diagnostic programs to resolve problems
Resolve technical problems with Local Area Networks (LAN), Wide Area
Networks (WAN), and other systems
Install computer peripherals for users
Follow up with customers to ensure issue has been resolved
Work is typically done from London to Sarnia for on-site tickets
Most of the work is completed remotely/from the office but you must be available to leave for on-site clients as they come up.
Helpful Experience
Computer System Admin/Networking College Course
3 years of business I.T. experience in a similar role
MAC OS proficiency
Experience with Office 365 and VOIP phone experience
Familiar with helpdesk ticketing systems
Experience with Active Directory, Networking & business WIFI
Experience with Printers and copier troubleshooting
Skills that would be good to have/be familiar with
Strong interpersonal, analytical, and organizational skills
A determination to achieve and succeed
The ability to meet project deadlines
Juggle and prioritize multiple tickets and projects
Team orientated player
Ability to multitask
The willingness to listen to feedback and use it to improve
Interest in learning new technology
Salary:
$15.50-$19.78 per hour
Flexible Language Requirement:
- French not required
Schedule:
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
Supplemental pay types:
- Overtime pay
