Quik's Farm Ltd.

is a wholesale cut flower grower based in Chilliwack, BC, with over 20 acres of indoor and an additional 20 acres of seasonal outdoor growing space.

Quik's Farm is geared towards the intense production of cut Chrysanthemums, Oriental Lilies, Alstroemeria, and other seasonal crops utilizing state-of-the-art growing systems and leading-edge technology to produce high quality products for our diverse customer base throughout Western Canada and the Pacific Northwest USA.


This position offers you an opportunity to be part of a dynamic, fun-loving, and growing team We are looking for a motivated Account Manager to provide sales support to our customers.

You will be assisting our sales team with developing sales, communicating with customers to determine their needs, and conducting research to identify new sales leads.

To ensure success as an account manager, you should possess excellent interpersonal skills and knowledge of customer relationship management. An outstanding account manager will be someone whose customer-oriented initiatives contribute to optimized sales department performance.


Primary Responsibilities:


  • Develop and maintain relationships within assigned accounts
  • Maintain a high level of service to existing customers, manage the customer relationship
  • Build seasonal and annual sales programs for corporate accounts and execute effectively
  • Notifying customers of unforeseen delivery delays or other complications, and facilitating suitable interventions
  • Collaborating with the sales team to identify new sales leads and develop sales plans
  • Reporting to sales managers as required
  • Conducting sales research and identifying new business sales opportunities
  • Documenting processes and maintaining sales department records
  • Travel to customer sites to maintain relationships with the existing customers
  • Performs other duties as required

Requirements:


  • Postsecondary degree in business, sales, marketing or similar
  • Previous experience in a sales environment will be advantageous
  • Must have the ability to work in a fastpaced, dynamic environment
  • Excellent customer service skills, interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
  • Able to build and maintain lasting relationships with corporate departments and key business associates
  • Good negotiation, planning, delegation, and organizational skills
  • Ability to occasionally travel and visit customers
  • Proficiency in office software, including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Outlook

This position may require you to work on Saturdays and Statutory holidays. There will be no Sunday work.

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday
