At Oak Island Resort & Conference Centre, we have an immediate opening for a Host/Hostess If you are a motivated person who thrives in a fast-passed environment, has great communication skills with a passion for providing personalized service, we want you
What You Will Do:
- Welcome each guest with a smile and friendly greeting
- Let your friendly personality shine and provide great customer service for guests
- Answer phone calls, deal with guest inquiries and take reservations
- Help customers with orders by explaining dishes and drinks, making recommendations as appropriate
- Coordinate food orders to guarantee efficient guest service, and deliver orders from the kitchen to guest tables
- Periodically check on guests to promptly handle any issues, and refill water
- Clean and reset tables
- Any additional tasks as assigned by your supervisor

What You Need to Succeed:
- 1year experience in a customer facing role
- Food & Beverage Server Designation an asset
- Great communication and organizational skills
- Positive, enthusiastic and professional attitude and presentation
- Able to work quickly and adapt on the go
- Able to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
