At Oak Island Resort & Conference Centre, we have an immediate opening for a Host/Hostess If you are a motivated person who thrives in a fast-passed environment, has great communication skills with a passion for providing personalized service, we want you

What You Will Do:

Welcome each guest with a smile and friendly greeting
Let your friendly personality shine and provide great customer service for guests
Answer phone calls, deal with guest inquiries and take reservations
Help customers with orders by explaining dishes and drinks, making recommendations as appropriate
Coordinate food orders to guarantee efficient guest service, and deliver orders from the kitchen to guest tables
Periodically check on guests to promptly handle any issues, and refill water
Clean and reset tables
Any additional tasks as assigned by your supervisor

What You Need to Succeed:

1year experience in a customer facing role
Food & Beverage Server Designation an asset
Great communication and organizational skills
Positive, enthusiastic and professional attitude and presentation
Able to work quickly and adapt on the go
Able to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
Food & Beverage Server Designation an asset
