Position Summary


With a customer service mindset, you will encourage the effective use of technology tools and resources by creating documentation, procedures and occasionally providing informal training.

Strong communication skills are essential as collaboration with all teams and documenting processes and procedures is a core requirement.


Responsibilities

IT Administration

  • Provide enduser training on hardware and software, including assist new hires during the onboarding process.
  • Provide hardware and software support for users, including laptop, wired/wireless network, remote access VPN, IP Phones (and softphones), office equipment and video conference/boardroom equipment.
  • Maintain accurate inventory of hardware and software assets (licenses and service contracts).
  • Effectively manage partner and vendor relationships to ensure quality service delivery and occasionally managing procurement of hardware, software, and services.
  • Create and maintain documentation in service requests, standard operating procedures, and system preventative maintenance manuals.
  • Continually seek effective, efficient methods of conducting business including researching tools, writing scripts (Python, Powershell an asset), and developing automation strategies.
  • Occasionally conduct technical research and make recommendations on products and services that can improve the efficiency and management of operations.
  • Assist with Salesforce CRM Administration
  • May be requested to undertake other related duties on a periodic basis.
  • Reasonable availability during offhours for troubleshooting and support as required.

Qualifications

  • 3 years of related Information Technology experience along with completion of a postsecondary program in Technology or related discipline preferred.
  • Exceptional communications skills (verbal and written).
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problemsolving skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to excel in a team environment.
  • Strong customer service skills and positive attitude.
  • Desire to learn new technologies, processes and take on new challenges.
  • Experience in an ITIL environment is an asset.
