POSITION OVERVIEW
The Digital Platforms Advisor ensures that the intranet is running smoothly and is kept up to date. They ensure a coherent evolution that is aligned with business needs by managing the daily activities associated with it.

They work as a specialist in web integration (HTML), UX, UI, SEO, web writing and analytics for all his internal clients.

Always ensuring the accuracy of the information and the adherence to high quality standards.


CHALLENGES TO BE MET- Act as a web expert for any change requests on web platforms; Advise clients by identifying their needs, and delivering solutions offering the best experience (UX, UI, web writing, SEO, branding) and that consider all constraints.- Collaborate closely with various stakeholders (business, IT and web specialists) to complete deliverables, while respecting agreed upon deadlines.

Manage issues and propose solutions that minimize risks and impacts on schedule and resources and communicates them to stakeholders.- Build pages using HTML and the use of CSS classes.- Manage day-to-day relationships with business partners to adequately meet their needs.

Act as the first level of support for web platforms, be the main point of contact for all internal or external queries.- Be responsible for what is posted online by ensuring that established standards are met and approving the posting.

Constantly ensure that the features in place are available and optimal.- Actively participate in the acceptance tests of digital platforms and tools to verify their proper functioning and the absence of defects before going into production.- Train content publishers by ensuring that they are given all the necessary resources (up-to-date user manuals, appropriate access rights, ongoing support, and adequate level of communication) to use the platforms.

Guide contributors on best practices and publishing processes.

Ensure the governance of access to digital platforms.- Ensure that tools remain relevant by keeping abreast of best practices and developments in digital technologies, assessing their relevance to the BDC context, and making recommendations for improvement.


WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR- Certificate in e-commerce or bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, e-commerce, or a related discipline- At least five years of experience in a similar position- Experience working with a content management tool as well as managing platforms for employees.- Experience in a context of digital platform change is an asset.- Great knowledge of the web, solid knowledge of HTML and CSS, and the principles of ergonomics, user experience, SEO, and web writing.- Strong customer service orientation demonstrated ability to anticipate needs and take appropriate action.- Ability to navigate a complex political environment, with different considerations to be considered.

Adapt according to stakeholders.- Ability to popularize web concepts and present information in a simple and clear way, making it easily understandable to a lay audience.

- Knowledge and interest in marketing and communications in general- Excellent planning and organizational skills- Team player and adaptability- Attention to detail- Bilingualism, including excellent oral and written communication skills (English & French)
