- Performing assembly, disassembly, and modifications on aerospace vehicle components to address failures or implement updates.
- Overseeing assembly, disassembly, and overhaul processes, as well as configuring aerospace vehicles and test equipment.
- Troubleshooting complex pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems to identify and repair faults.
- Conducting validation and verification testing on systems and components.
- Documenting procedures and processes to ensure contractual and regulatory compliance.
- Inspecting components and confirming repairs meet flight standards. Providing oversight for training activities. Working under general direction.
- Minimum of 4 years of aircraft maintenance experience, CH47 platform experience preferred.
- Possession of either Transport Canada Civil Aviation (TCCA), Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME), Avionics Technician (AME-E) license, or equivalent Military qualifications.
- Legally authorized to work in Canada.
- Willingness to undergo Canadian Government Controlled Goods Program (CGP) assessment.
- Unrestricted eligibility for Secret Level II security clearance.
- Ability to handle US export-controlled data.
- Completed post-secondary education.
- Successful completion of a formal, CH147 type training course within their aviation specialty.
- Familiarity with the Royal Canadian Air Force Electronic Record Keeping System (ERKS) or Defense Resource Management Information System (DRMIS).
- Active Secret Level II Security Clearance.

Join the team at Boeing Canada Operations Ltd. as an Aircraft Mechanic, where you'll report to the Senior Maintenance Manager and Chief Mechanic at the Petawawa facility. As an essential part of the team supporting CH47 Phase Inspections for our valued customer, 450 THS, Canadian Airforce, you'll play a crucial role.

This role requires 100% onsite presence. The selected candidate must work at the specified location.

Additional Information:
This job posting is for a locally filled role in Canada under Boeing Canada. Candidates must have legal authorization to work in Canada. Compensation and benefits are in line with Canadian standards, not on Boeing US payroll. This is not an overseas assignment.
Compensation will be determined based on qualifications and experience, ranging from $80,000 to $93,000 annually. This full-time position includes comprehensive benefits and a retirement savings scheme.
Applicants must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret Level II security clearance from the Canadian government.
