Description

Duties:

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the layout of plumbing systems
• Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems and fixtures in commercial and residential buildings
• Assemble and install pipes and fittings using various tools and techniques
• Perform pipe threading and cutting as needed
• Troubleshoot plumbing issues and provide effective solutions
• Collaborate with other tradespeople to ensure efficient completion of projects
• Conduct field service visits to diagnose and repair plumbing problems
• Perform general maintenance person tasks related to plumbing repairs and maintenance

Requirements:

• Journeyman/Journeywoman Plumber license or equivalent certification
• Proficiency in reading schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings
• Strong understanding of basic math for measurements and calculations
• Experience in assembling, installing, and maintaining plumbing systems
• Knowledge of pipe threading techniques
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record for commercial driving purposes
• Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks
