Role :
Integration QA Specialist (bilingual - English/French] is a must

Duration : 6 months (with extension)

Location :
Montreal [mostly Remote / some onsite] Once in a while

As an Integration QA specialist, you will collaborate with the Development team to support release planning, estimation, and delivery processes using Agile methodologies.

You will create and maintain test plans, acceptance criteria, regression test suites, map requirements to test cases and support delivery teams during system integration and E2E testing.

The Integration QA specialist will also provide test-ability/QA feedback to architecture teams through participation in design and development reviews and being responsible for defect tracking, communication and resolution processes.

This individual will ensure that the integration and performance testing is performed, system components are in Bitbucket, and appropriate technical documentation allows this platform to be checked-out, tested and validated.

Key Responsibilities

Understanding requirements and creating key test deliverables such as test strategies, plans, scripts, scenarios, test data etc.
Test estimation, scheduling, requirements traceability, execution and reporting results to various audiences.
Identifying regression testing scope and coverage
Defect identification, reporting in JIRA and ownership through to resolution.
Collaborate with developers toward the resolution of the defect.
Adherence to the software development lifecycle (SDLC), testing standards and best practices.
Establishing close working relationships with developers and also business users

Qualifications

Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science / Engineering or equivalent experience
Experience running manually or in an automated fashion
Extensive experience in integration testing
Wellversed with Postman, JMeter, SoapUI and scripting languages
2+ years of experience working with JSON and/or XML data
Knowledge to test automation tools and principles, e.g. Citrus, Loadrunner
Good problemsolving skills to assess the scope of issues and their impact to clarify the severity
Selfdriven, fast learner with support capabilities
Familiar with Agile development practices
Provide consulting advice on test methodology and tools.
Fully bilingual in French and English is a must
