LDD is currently looking to hire a
Finance Assistant to join their team based in Camborne on a full time, permanent basis.

The Finance Assistant will be responsible for full-cycle accounts payable processing and payments in relation to LDD Group and will also assist the Finance Manager with month end reporting.


Duties

  • Responsible for fullcycle accounts payable processing in relation to LDD Group
  • Ensuring that all supplier invoices received include proper coding and have required supporting documentation
  • Processing supplier and intercompany invoices within the target timeline
  • Ensuring that accurate and up to date records are maintained
  • Ensuring that all authorisations comply with procedures
  • Reviewing supplier statements and reconciling supplier accounts
  • Ensuring inhouse training for purchase orders is provided and kept up to date
  • Raising monthly intercompany recharges
  • Completion of daily & monthly bank reconciliations
  • Preparation of weekly, monthly, and ad hoc payment runs ready for authorisation
  • Ensuring all purchase orders are coded correctly and authorised in line with authorisation matrix
  • Processing all purchase invoices through authorisation procedure, matching to relevant purchase order, and ultimately inputting into accounts package in a timely manner
  • Close monitoring of invoices received to ensure being processed in target timeline
  • Completing intercompany processing in a timely manner to adhere to reporting deadlines
  • Processing of personnel expenses and credit card statements
  • Ensuring all supplier queries, internal and external, are responded in a timely manner
  • Calculation and updating of supplier payments forecast to ensure accurate cashflow reporting
  • Reconciliation of supplier statements to ensure all accounts are accurate
  • Posting of monthly time charges and depreciation
  • Assist with the preparation of month end journals including prepayments
  • Assisting with yearend audit requirements as necessary
  • Assisting the Finance Manager with any ad hoc duties from time to time

Required

  • Minimum AAT Advanced Diploma in Accounting Level 3 with prior experience in a similar role
  • Prior exposure to foreign currency transactions would be advantageous
  • Experience of month end journals and group elimination balances
  • In house training to be provided on Navision accounting package
  • Experienced in purchase ledger or accounts payable
  • High level of IT aptitude, particularly in the use of MS Excel and MS SharePoint
  • Exceptional accuracy and organisational skills
  • Strong communication skills
  • Flexible and openminded approach to your prioritisation of work
  • Able to work effectively without close supervision and as part of a team
  • Thorough attention to detail
