Description

As a DevOps Engineer on our team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and reliable operation of our IT systems, providing technical support and leading innovative improvements.

We are in search of candidates with strong technical backgrounds and experience, particularly with an in-depth knowledge of developing and maintaining automation tools and processes.

Candidates with a background in software development are highly preferred.

Responsibilities:

Manage and maintain the company's servers, networks, and infrastructure, ensuring efficient and reliable service delivery.
Implement and continuously improve automation tools to optimize deployment, monitoring, and operational processes.
Monitor system performance, respond to and resolve incidents quickly to minimize interruptions and downtime.
Perform regular system backups and disaster recovery operations to secure critical data and ensure business continuity.
Collaborate with the development team to optimize CI/CD pipelines for faster and more reliable code deployment.
Design and implement comprehensive system monitoring strategies to prevent and identify potential system anomalies.
Write technical documentation, provide training and support to team members and other departmental staff, ensuring procedural adherence.
Analyze system performance and implement measures to improve system efficiency and availability.
Stay ahead of technology trends, driving updates and upgrades to maintain a competitive edge in the industry.
Execute other DevOps-related tasks as assigned by superiors.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
At least 2 years of professional DevOps experience, including managing and maintaining Linux/Windows servers.
Proficient in at least one scripting language (e.g., Bash, Python, Perl).
Experience with managing cloud services (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
Expertise in networking architecture, including configuration and management of VPNs, firewalls, and load balancers.
Familiarity with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and automation tools (Ansible, Puppet, Chef, etc.).
Strong problem-solving skills, capable of working independently as well as part of a team.
Excellent communication and time management skills, able to perform in a fast-paced, multitask environment.
Relevant professional certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Cisco Certified) are preferred.
A deep understanding of information security and experience in implementing related policies.
