Northumberland Drywall, an established leader in the construction industry since 2006, is seeking a skilled Drywall and Steel Stud Framing Technician to join our dynamic team.

As a key member of our company, you will be responsible for performing drywall installation, repair, and finishing tasks, as well as steel stud framing, to ensure top-notch quality and customer satisfaction.

• Install, repair, and finish drywall using industrystandard techniques and tools.
• Perform steel stud framing for various construction projects.
• Interpret blueprints, specifications, and project plans to determine work requirements.
• Measure, cut, and fit drywall and steel studs accurately.
• Smooth seams, joints, and surfaces using appropriate techniques such as taping, mudding, and sanding.
• Ensure all work meets code requirements and client expectations.
• Collaborate with project teams to coordinate work schedules and ensure timely completion of tasks.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, including proper storage of tools and materials.
• Adhere to safety guidelines and protocols to create a safe working environment.

• Proven experience as a Drywall and Steel Stud Framing Technician or similar role is an asset.
• Indepth knowledge of drywall installation, repair, finishing techniques, and steel stud framing is an asset.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, specifications, and project plans.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering highquality workmanship.
• Excellent problemsolving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Physical stamina and the ability to work in various environmental conditions.
• Familiarity with relevant building codes, regulations, and safety protocols is an asset.
• Continuous learning mindset and a willingness to adapt to new techniques and technologies.
