To drive continued success in this exciting clinical research field, we are seeking committed, detail-oriented, customer-focused, and organized individuals to join our winning team as Contract Project Financial Specialists for our Toronto/Markham, Ontario, Canada on-site location, or remotely from a home-based office anywhere in Canada in accordance with our Work from Home policy.
This is a 4 month contract position with the possibility to convert into a full time position if the incumbent is successful at performing with quality and customer focus in alignment with Everest's values and culture.
Perform Hands-on Project Financial
Data Entry/Migration Activities**- Receive hands on training on project financial processes and systems at Everest, project financial data review and data entry migration activities, and other supporting tasks and responsibilities for project financial data management and maintenance, as required.
- Review current project budget tracking tools and project financial progress data to understand how the budget tools are structured (i.e., key project activities, hours/activity, role performing the activity) for each project/service type.
- Receive training on the new project financial system to which existing project financial data will be migrated. Learn how to map activities from the current financial budget tool to the new electronic/centralized financial budget tool.
- Systematically perform data entry for the migration of existing project financial data into a new system and template
- Review and raise issues or questions that may arise during the project financial data mapping and data migration process
- Assist in quality check processes for the migrated data working with project management, finance and cross functional team members, as required.
- Assist in resolution of data migration issues
Qualifications And Experience
- A Bachelors' degree in financial, business or accounting fields.
- Demonstrated interest and high level understanding of project management concepts, processes and procedures, relevant issues related to project financial management.
- Demonstrated experience in performing detail oriented tasks with focus and quality, and strong communication skills, and customer service / interaction skills.
- Exposure and understanding of life sciences and clinical research concepts preferred, but not required.
