Duties

Operate and monitor various cold heading machines in a manufacturing environment
Set up machines according to specifications and blueprints
Load and unload materials into machines
Inspect finished products for quality and make adjustments as needed
Troubleshoot and resolve issues that may arise during machine operation
Perform routine maintenance on machines to ensure optimal performance
Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work area

Skills:

Experience operating cold heading equipment would be an asset but not required
A high school diploma is required and a college diploma in a mechanical technician/technologist program or an acceptable equivalent would be an advantage.
Familiarity with using hand tools, calipers, and other measuring instruments for precise measurements an asset but not required
Forklift certificate would be an asset but not required
Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of machining processes
