    Location: Calgary Alberta (Hybrid - 3 days onsite in week)

    In this role, you will be responsible for coding, testing, and delivering high quality deliverables, and should be willing to learn new technologies.

    Skills:

    • Experience building Android applications that are available in the App Store
    • Kotlin expert, but also familiar with Java code and strong understanding of interoperability between the two
    • Strong understanding of Android application development and architectures
    • Strong understanding of MVVM, MVP and other object-oriented patterns/concepts
    • Demonstrated skills in writing high-quality, readable, well-architected and efficient code
    • Thorough code review skills
    • Experience with remote API (REST, JSON)
    • Excellent technical decision-making capabilities
    • Excellent communication skills
    • Experience writing unit tests and unit-testable code
    • Contribute in defining the mobile application strategy
    • Design and implement features for a suite of Mobile Applications Learn and apply new technologies, best design practices and usability patterns
    • Contribute to end-to-end system architecture, working with back-end engineers
    • Collaborate with product managers and other technical teams to create optimized and delightful user experiences.
    • Maintain source code quality, provide code review feedback, and help create team coding principles.
