Construction Superintendent - Greater Toronto Area, Canada - Fina Construction Ltd.

Description

Maintain a safe work environment by enforcing safety policy and protocols, conducting regular site inspections, and ensuring compliance with local regulations, industry standards and client site requirements.

• Manage all aspects of onsite construction activities, including scheduling, coordinating subcontractors, monitoring progress, and ensuring adherence to project plans and specifications as per drawings.
• Responsible for monitoring project budgets, controlling costs, and ensuring projects are completed within agreedupon timelines.
• Supervise onsite personnel, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure efficient and productive work practices.
• Maintain project documentation, including daily reports, progress updates, change orders, and other relevant records.
• Act as a liaison between clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors, facilitating effective communication and addressing any concerns or changes promptly.
• Address any onsite issues or conflicts promptly, finding effective solutions to keep the project on track and within budget.
• Implement and enforce quality control measures to maintain high construction standards and ensure compliance with building codes and client expectations.
