Job Description:

The Project Coordinator will assist the Project Manager in the day-to-day duties of a project's administration, including cost controls, planning, scheduling, and the preparation of daily, weekly, and shift progress reporting, especially important to this position, is being performed by someone who is comfortable with change management and has high attention to details.

This position is permanent and will be based out of Sherwood Park._**
What would you be doing?

  • Develop and navigate spreadsheets.
  • Data and time entry.
  • Handle payroll and PO requests.
  • Assist in developing and maintaining the project master schedule with input from other project management personnel.
  • Maintain correct and uptodate logs, track responses, and advise the Project Manager of the status of such logs.
  • Monitor project work to ensure compliance with company standards, procedures, specifications, and codes.
  • Monitor receiving, warehousing functions, and material control.
  • Understand and perform document control functions following company policy and procedures, including creating RFIs, composing agreements, and keeping a project expediting list.
  • Build effective relationships with clients, contractors, suppliers, and user groups that reflect and support core company values.
  • Work with the supply chain and AP on procurement and sourcing.
  • Provide Estimating support with take offs and construction methodology/proposal support.
  • Working with vendor management for set up and vendor screening/compliance.

  • 3+ Years of Project Coordination experience.
  • Mechanical background (EIT and/or Pipefitter/Welder).
  • Standard First Aid.
  • Exceptional organizational abilities with task prioritization, multitasking, timelines, and time management techniques.
  • Professional demeanor under stressful situations.
  • Ability to communicate effectively at all levels and build relationships.
  • Ability to set up priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Organizational and analytical skills.
