About This Opportunity:


In this role, you will be responsible for ordering Purchased Finished Goods (PFG) to meet target inventory levels and manufacturing lead times and minimum run quantities.

You will also be responsible for building optimal loads that support transportation's routing guide matrix. You will also be responsible for inventory status communication, reporting on out-of-stock OOS risk or potential shelf-life risk.


Responsibilities:


  • Creates a weekly supply plan for the purchase of finished goods
  • Creates schedules of inbound deliveries
  • Identifies potential risks of OOS situations and develops action plans to mitigate them
  • Creates and communicates order to vendors
  • Monitors and verifies the compliance and execution of the daily replenishment plans
  • Manages risk for slowselling SKU and development of measures to avoid possible writeoffs in the future (age optimization of products)
  • Supports the Regional Planning manager in preparation of the annual business plan and supply review

Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in Technology, Logistics, Business, Engineering or other relevant fields
  • 2+ years of supply planning/logistics experience
  • Excellent communication skills (written and oral)
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Intermediate Excel skills
  • Demonstrated understanding of planning processes in product supply systems
  • Demonstrated knowledge of logistics processes
  • Good working knowledge of supply management methods and policies
  • Experience working in an ERP environment, ideally SAP or Blue Yonder, is an asset
