About This Opportunity:
In this role, you will be responsible for ordering Purchased Finished Goods (PFG) to meet target inventory levels and manufacturing lead times and minimum run quantities.
Responsibilities:
- Creates a weekly supply plan for the purchase of finished goods
- Creates schedules of inbound deliveries
- Identifies potential risks of OOS situations and develops action plans to mitigate them
- Creates and communicates order to vendors
- Monitors and verifies the compliance and execution of the daily replenishment plans
- Manages risk for slowselling SKU and development of measures to avoid possible writeoffs in the future (age optimization of products)
- Supports the Regional Planning manager in preparation of the annual business plan and supply review
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Technology, Logistics, Business, Engineering or other relevant fields
- 2+ years of supply planning/logistics experience
- Excellent communication skills (written and oral)
- Strong organizational skills
- Strong analytical skills
- Intermediate Excel skills
- Demonstrated understanding of planning processes in product supply systems
- Demonstrated knowledge of logistics processes
- Good working knowledge of supply management methods and policies
- Experience working in an ERP environment, ideally SAP or Blue Yonder, is an asset
