Description
The Operations Associate is a critical role to SCOOTY's fleet and city operations success.

SCOOTY is seeking a highly motivated Operations Associate to help manage our electric scooter fleet, support with daily city operations and rider experience activities and events.

The core responsibilities of the Operations Associate will be responsible for supporting the City Operations Manager and collaborating with the Fleet & Warehouse Manager to support the day-to-day operations of our electric scooter fleet, ensuring that they are maintained, charged, and rebalanced at appropriate SCOOTY stations across the city readily available for riders to use.

The Operations Associate will have multifaceted responsibilities and work with all departments at SCOOTY.


Responsibilities:


  • Support City Operations Manager with daily fleet operations to rebalance, recharge and retrieve our electric scooter fleet across the City of Brampton.
  • Support City Operations Manager to address any rider/city/citizen complaints and fleet issues in compliance with regulations and maintain an excellent level of service.
  • Coordinating with Fleet & Warehouse Manager and Fleet Service Technicians to support routine infield maintenance and repairs of our electric scooter fleet, ensuring that they are safe and reliable for riders to use while deployed across the city.
  • Maintain accurate records of daily fleet operations, including data on fleet utilization, maintenance, and repairs, and share daily records of this data with City Operations Manager to identify areas for improvement, rebalancing and fleet maintenance.
  • Support rider and community engagement by responding to inquiries and feedback from users, and working with local partners to ensure that SCOOTY service meets the needs of the community.
  • Support City Operations Manager, Chief Community Officer with monthly community development activities and SCOOTY education/rider awareness as needed.
  • Support City Operations Manager to address customer and city complaints and provide solutions within a 2hr timeframe.

Requirements:


  • High School Diploma, College/Bachelor's degree in business, operations, IT, or a related field is a plus.
  • 1+ years of experience in fleet management or operations, preferably in the transportation or rideshare industry is a plus.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to work in a fastpaced environment and handle multiple tasks and priorities with mínimal supervision.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively crossfunctionally with all team members, riders, partners, and local city staff.
  • Available to attend SCOOTY community and partner events on as needed basis.
  • Comfortable working inperson and communicating/educating riders, city officials and corporate partners on the benefits and safety procedures of electric scooter rideshare.
  • Daily onsite work in Brampton with flexibility to work evenings, nights, and weekends, as needed.
  • Ability to lift and move up to 70 pounds.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
  • Comfortable driving around the city in a SCOOTY cargo van for long periods of time.
  • Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.
  • Must have a valid G driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Criminal background check and driver's record check is required.
  • Strong understanding of electric scooter operations & city escooter regulations is a plus.
  • Experience in electric vehicle maintenance and repair is a plus.
