Responsibilities:


  • Identify potential proposal opportunities by conducting research on RFPs, RFIs, RFQs, etc.
  • Collaborate with the Business Development team to assess the feasibility of pursuing a proposal opportunity.
  • Develop proposal timelines, outline proposal requirements, and assign responsibilities to team members.
  • Ensure that all proposal materials meet the specified formatting requirements.
  • Coordinate proposal team meetings and ensure that all team members are aware of their responsibilities and timelines.
  • Ensure that all proposal materials are complete, accurate, and submitted by the deadline.
  • Coordinate with the Proposal Manager/Specialist to ensure that all proposal materials are properly packaged and labeled.
  • Conduct final reviews of the proposal to ensure that it meets all submission requirements.
  • Provide support to the Proposal Manager/Specialist during negotiations with the client (pulling data from RFP for presentation).
  • All administration work necessary for the bid team to ensure compliance with requirements, including registration for new procurement sites, schedule management of multiple bids, updating bid trackers, etc.
  • Hosting bid review meetings.

Requirements:


  • A college or university graduate
  • 2+ years experience in a related environment
  • Confident and selfstarter
  • Ability to work under minimum supervision
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, confidence
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook
  • Comfortable with computer systems and software like Adobe
  • Knowledge of InDesign software is a plus.
  • Must be detail oriented and have the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Some working experience in a consulting firm providing services to utilities, engineering, power plants or other industrial projects is an asset

Additional Information


A requirement of working for Tetra Tech is that you are at least 18 years of age and legally entitled to work in Canada.

(A copy of a valid work permit may be required.)


If you are considered for the position, clearance on all applicable background checks (which may include criminal, identity, educational and security) and professional reference checks is required.

Some Tetra Tech positions require an enhanced level of background assessment, which is dictated by law.

These positions require advanced criminal record checks that must also be conducted from time to time after commencement of employment.
